On March 14, 2020, Millville Fire Dept. Engine 36, Ladder 35, and Rescue 34 were dispatched to 3 W McNeal St. for a reported dwelling fire. Engine 36 arrived with smoke showing from the front door of a 2 story duplex. Interior crews found a working fire in the basement and requested the 2nd alarm struck. This added units from Vineland, Rosenhayn, Cedarville, Downe Twp, and Inspira EMS. Crews worked to quickly extinguish the fire, as ladder 2’s crew made entry into the other side of the duplex. Units remained on scene for sometime preforming overhaul operations and checking for extension. No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Millville PD and Cumberland County Fire Police assisted at the scene.
