On April 1, 2017, Vineland units, Engine 61, Rescue 1, Sq. 6, and Life Support 7, were dispatched to the area of 2051 W. Oak Rd. for a reported MVC with possible entrapment. Engine 61 arrived with 1 vehicle vs pole, with 1 patient trapped. Crews went in service, quickly extricating the patient. EMS on scene requested the helicopter to fly. Engine 11, was then dispatched to set up an LZ at a nearby school. MedEvac 5 transported the patient to a local trauma center. Vineland PD is investigating the crash.
