On April 6, 2013, Elmer Fire Co. and Salem County Hazmat conducted a drill on Chestnut St. at the ball fields. Elmer Fire Co. Sta. 21 and Elmer EMS Sq. 21 were dispatched to the ball fields for a reported Hazmat incident. Engine 21-2 arrived and established command. Command reported a box truck on location with patients down on location. Command requested the Salem County Hazmat Sta. 25, Willow Grove Fire Co. Sta. 22, Alloway EMS Sq. 19 and Woodstown EMS Sq. 12 to be dispatched to the scene. Hazmat crews suited up and removed the patients from the vehicle. After decon, the patients were transported by bls.
