06-12-2009, Ped. MVC, Pilesgrove Twp. Salem County, Rt. 45 and Rt. 40
On June 12, 2009, Woodstown EMS Sq. 12, Life Support 5, and Reliance Fire Co. Sta. 12 were dispatched to Rt. 40 and 45 for a reported pedestrian MVC. Units arrived with a tractor trailer vs ped with serious injuries. Life Support requested the helicopter to fly. Engine 12-1 set up the LZ in a nearby field. SouthStar transported the patient to Copper Trauma Center.
