On June 7, 2009, Willow Grove Fire Co. Sta. 22, along with Monroeville Fire Co. Sta. 17, Malaga Fire Co. Sta. 43-4, Elmer EMS Sq. 21, and Life Support 2 were dispatched to the area of Rt. 40 and Taylor rd for a reported MVC with entrapment. Units arrived with a 2 vehicle mvc, 1 overtuned, with negative entrapment. Crews assisted ems with removing the patients and stabilized the vehicles. Crews remained on location unitl the vehicles were removed. The patients were taken by ground to a local hospital.
