On March 9, 2009, Vineland units were dispatched to S. Main Rd. at Cafe Centro for a reported commercial structure. Units arrived with heavy smoke showing from a strip mall. Due to heavy fire conditions, command requested the 2nd alarm struck. Ladder crews went into service to open the roof. Crews found fire under the metal roof. After some time, the fire was placed under control. Bridgeton Fire Co. Sta. 7 and Vineland EMS also assisted at the scene.
