On Jan. 28, 2009, Centerton Fire Co. Sta. 23, along with Elmer Fire Co. Sta. 21, Willow Grove Fire Co. Sta. 22, Reliance Fire Co. Sta. 12, and Elmer EMS Sq. 21 were dispatched to Palatine Lake Ave. for a reported structure fire. Units arrived with a shed fully involved with light exposure to a dwelling. Crews made a quick knock of the fire. Sta. 12 was later recalled. NJSP are investigating.
