The West Tuckerton Fire Co. Sta. 71, located in Ocean County NJ, recently placed in service two new pierce velocity units as Engine 71-01 and Tower 71-05. Tower 71-05 is a 2012 Pierce Velocity equipped with a 2000gpm pump, 300 gallon tank, and 95' tower ladder. Engine 71-01 is also a 2012 Pierce Velocity, equipped with a 2000gpm pump and 1000 tank. This truck also carries the companies hurst tools. These units replaced a 1985 SPARTAN/LTI 1500/300/85' tower, 2005 SPARTAN/EVI Rescue, and a 1994 SPARTAN/SAULSBURY 1500/1000 Engine. SJFN would like to wish the West Tuckerton Fire Co many great years with the new additions.
